Portland, Oregon~ With new concerns that a serial murderer may be on the loose, police in the US are looking into the inexplicable murders of six women and whether they are connected to one another. Between February and last month, the women’s bodies were discovered in Portland, Oregon, within 160 kilometers of one another, according to KGW8.
According to reports, five distinct local law enforcement teams are looking into the fatalities, with several coordinating with one another to see if a single criminal might be to blame. The most recent body connected to the case, which belonged to Ashley Real, was found in early May. The 22-year-old was last seen in March at a fast-food restaurant and was later discovered dead in a densely wooded region.
Joanna Sparks vanished in as well March; her body was later discovered in April. Ms. Sparks is the only woman in the investigation whose cause of death has been made public, despite the fact that local police first ruled her death a homicide after learning she had suffered physical injuries to the head and neck.
As a result of the alarmingly high number of fatalities in the area, Ms. Spark’s sister Robyn Sparks said she will closely monitor the investigation. She told KGW8, “I don’t want to ever terrify people, but the reality is that women are dying at a horrific rate. We’ve finished the memorial service, but now that it’s true, it’s kind of sinking in more because we keep seeing all these new girls on the news.
Charity Perry, Bridget Webster, and Kristin the probe involves Smith as well as an unnamed native American woman.
