Bus driver died in school bus accident in Georgia, United states – The officials in Georgia has confirmed an accident tat happened today, August 5th, 2022, that involved a school bus driver and three elementary school students. The accident happened around 6:50 a.m. the driver of the bus is a 69-year-old man whose identity was previously concealed until his family was informed. The 69-year-old man was identified as Sebastian Ciarcia that is from Yatesville in Georgia.

The accident happened the bus hit a utility truck traveling in the opposite direction when it side-swiped it, according to Upson County Sheriff Dan Kilgore. The accident happened about 65 miles south of Atlanta is Upson County and the bus went off the road and into a ditch. It was reported that two of the students sustained minor injuries. According to a statement from Thomaston-Upson Schools, the students were transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital.
The student were taken to Upson Regional Medical Center. Report from the Georgia state police revealed that Ciarcia collided with the utility truck as it was moving south on Logtown Road while he was heading north after which he subsequently lost control of the bus and the bus went off the road and struck numerous trees by the side of the road on the route.
