Seattle Shooting Today – The incident that occurred on Wednesday in North Seattle and left two persons injured is currently under investigation by the police. Officers from the Seattle Police Department (SPD) were dispatched to the area close to the intersection of N 90th Street and Nesbit Avenue North at approximately 8:00 a.m., as stated by the SPD. This part of the city is located in the Licton Springs neighborhood of Seattle.
Two people shot and injured
When the police came, they discovered a 37-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. He was in a stable condition when he was transported to Harborview Medical Center. Later, the Seattle Fire Department (SFD) verified that a second victim, a woman in her 31st year, was also treated at the scene of the incident. In order to receive treatment, she was also taken to the Harborview Medical Center. At this point, there are no suspects that have been identified. According to the SPD, an active investigation is currently being conducted.
Police investigating another shooting
Another shooting took place in the Columbia City district of Seattle at roughly the same time on Wednesday morning, and the Seattle Police Department is looking into that incident as well. Wednesday morning, a guy in his 20s was hurt in a shooting in the Columbia City district of Seattle, and the police are currently investigating the incident.
According to the Seattle Police Department (SPD), officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 8:00 a.m. near the intersection of S Othello Street and 43rd Avenue South. The victim was located by the responding cops with a gunshot wound to the leg that was not considered to be life-threatening. The Seattle Police Department responded to the scene and rendered first aid until Seattle Fire Department crews arrived to transport the victim to Harborview Medical Center.
The State Department reports that the victim’s condition has remained unchanged for some time. According to the authorities, the inquiry is still ongoing.
