Scott Underwood Death – Oconee County Georgia police officer, Scott Underwood, passed away on Friday. The death of Scott Underwood was announced by the Oconee County Georgia Sheriff’s Office after he passed away on Friday, May 19, 2023. The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is in sorrow for a member of their staff who, according to them, went away unexpectedly. According to reports, Lt. Scott Underwood, who was a loving father and husband, passed away on Friday afternoon.

According to the sheriff, Underwood was born and raised in Oconee County, and he worked as a deputy sheriff in the county for a total of 21 years. To to Sheriff James A. Hale Jr., “He had genuine passion for his work in law enforcement and was beloved by all who had the privilege to work with him,” There are three people who will carry on after Lieutenant Underwood: his wife and their two teenage sons. The sheriff asked everyone to remember their buddy and brother in their prayers and thoughts during this trying time.

“Please keep his family and his Sheriff’s Office family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time as we grieve our tremendous loss and say goodbye to our friend and brother,” he said. According to the sheriff, there are currently no plans or agreements in place.

On Thursday, a murder-suicide took place in south Georgia at a residence and a McDonald’s restaurant, resulting in the deaths of four persons. The Colquitt County Coroner’s Office that the incident resulted in the deaths of four persons, including the shooter. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, the perpetrator of the shooting is Kentavious White, who is 26 years old and works at a McDonald’s restaurant in Moultrie. Moultrie Police Chief Sean Ladson called federal agents while they were on their way to the location and informed them that they had discovered a woman who had been shot at a home, but that she was still alive. She succumbed to her wounds some time later. After some time, the body of another woman was discovered inside the house next door.
