Scott Luczynski Death – Scott Luczynski, a resident of Elburn, Illinois, and his beloved wife Kathleen Luczynski passed away tragically on Saturday night, September 2nd, 2023. They were announced dead through a social media publication that says “My birthday was filled with sorrow as heaven gained two new angels. My loving cousin Scott and his beautiful wife Kathleen Armstrong Luczynski were involved in a fatal accident while riding their motorcycle Saturday night.”
Scott Luczynski and Kathleen Luczynski’s cause of death
A head-on collision that occurred on Saturday night in Kane County resulted in the deaths of three people. Deputies from Kane County say the collision took place just before 9:30 p.m. on U.S. Route 30 close to Davis Road in Big Rock Township. According to the findings of an initial investigation, Jaime Bibiano, 55, of Waterman, Illinois, was driving a gray Honda Civic that was heading westbound on US Route 30 from Davis Road when the accident occurred.
According to the officials, Bibiano passed a vehicle that was in front of him in the eastbound lane although the zone did not allow passing. Scott Luczynski, 56, and Kathleen Armstrong Luczynski, 58, both of Elburn, Illinois, were riding a blue 2002 Harley Davidson motorbike eastbound on US Route 30 as they approached Davis Road.
Jaime Bibiano Death
The driver of the motorbike was Scott Luczynski and the passenger on the motorcycle was Kathleen Armstrong Luczynski. Jaime Bibiano was passing on the left when he was involved in a head-on collision with the motorcycle. At around 10:06 p.m., the body of the Harley’s passenger was discovered at the accident scene. According to the officials, Jaime Bibiano was also discovered dead inside of his vehicle.
At approximately 10:19 p.m., Scott Luczynski was brought to the Mercy Hospital in Aurora, where he was subsequently pronounced dead. It is not known whether alcohol or drugs were involved in the incident. The collision did not result in the closure of any roads. Detectives from the sheriff’s office are conducting an investigation.

Love, laughter, and kindness were embodied by Scott Luczynski and his wife Kathleen Armstrong Luczynski. Through their motorcycle clubs, they both supported neighborhood charities and showed kindness to kids who were struggling in life. Scott was the life of the party no matter what. They were devoted grandparents and caring parents to their siblings and grandchildren. At Kindred Hospital Sycamore, Kathleen worked as an assistant in the administrative office.
