Scots Boxer Killed After Motorbike Collision With Car: A Scottish boxer has perished in a motorcycle accident, just days after a crucial title battle. Andrew “Andy” Tham’s motorcycle collided with an automobile on Thursday, May 30 at approximately 6.50 p.m. Police Scotland officers are currently investigating the crash. Andy, 28, was brought to the hospital with significant injuries after colliding with a red Hyundai Tucson automobile on his green Kawasaki motorcycle. He died sadly.
The crash occurred on the B8039 near Lenziemill Road in Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire, less than two weeks after he lost the Celtic Featherweight title to George Stewart. The driver and passengers of the Hyundai Tucson were brought to Airdrie’s University Hospital Monklands and treated for minor injuries before being released.
The road had been stopped for around four hours to allow police crash investigators to conduct an investigation into the collision. Following the event, the boxing world rallied behind Andy, with hundreds expressing prayers and well wishes on social media as word of his injuries spread.
