Scooter Driver Shot Dead In Melbourne: Melbourne police are investigating a shooting that killed a man early Tuesday. Patrol officers found a man near Ryoland Street and South Grant Street around 12:30 a.m. who seemed to have wrecked a gas-powered scooter. 911 calls were received for shots fired in the vicinity at the same time.
Officers determined that the man had been shot. Despite efforts to save him, the individual was eventually declared dead. The victim’s identify has not yet been revealed.
