Samantha Ehrke Death – Columbus High School Alumna Samantha Ehrke has sadly passed away. She died leaving family and loved ones. The news of her death was known through a Facebook post made on Monday 9th April 2023 that says “You will be so missed Samantha Ehrke. You always made sure everyone felt so loved and had a good time”. The circumstances surrounding the actual cause of Samantha Ehrke’s death has not been made public.
Who was Samantha Ehrke?
She was a native of Columbus, Wisconsin but resided in Astico, Wisconsin. She attended Columbus High School where she graduated in 2009. Because of her boundless enthusiasm, Samantha was able to infuse a room with both energy and excitement. Many people are going to miss having her around. She inspired others to model themselves after them. Because she was always willing to lend a hand, she was an invaluable asset. She felt obliged to travel and have meaningful contact with people whose lives had been influenced by a variety of events because this was one of her primary areas of interest.
The world was a better place because Samantha Ehrke was always rooting for the success of others. Because she always wanted others well. Spending time with her was a treat due to the lovely temperament that she possessed. She established a great number of enduring friendships, and she left her mark on each one. Her neighbors had a hard time getting by because she was so generous.

On Monday, April 10th, 2023, Tara Benke spearheaded the organization of a fundraising effort on GoFundMe in support of Samantha Ehrke. The goal of the fundraising effort was to collect enough money to cover not only the expenses associated with the memorial service for Samantha but also the costs associated with the preparations and expenses related to his burial. The total of only$225 had been donated as of the time that this piece was published owing to the efforts of 3 different donors.
An excerpt from the account reads “Hi, my soon to be sister in law has passed away this past weekend. This was a very tragic and unexpected passing. Sam leaves behind her 3 children, 2 of which have now lost both of their parents. I am starting this for Sam’s parents to help relieve some of the costs of the funeral and anything leftover will go to Sam’s children”.
