Following a social media publication by Melissa Hay of Nanaimo, British Columbia, Sam Hudson passed away sadly from addiction. Part of the publication read: “love you Sammy and I’m so sad addictions took your life. When we heard you were in the hospital last Friday.. we jumped in our vehicle, left Nanaimo late at night, and ripped over to Alberta to come be by your side. Seeing you hooked up to tubes and machines broke my heart. Saying goodbye to you was even more heartbreaking. How do you walk away from your brother knowing you’ll never see him again?”
