At approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Wilson was reportedly riding a motorcycle on Missouri 248, close to Cassville, when for reasons that are now unknown, the motorcycle off the roadway and came into contact with an embankment. Wilson was subsequently killed.
During the collision, both Wilson and his passenger, who was only 14 years old, were thrown from the motorcycle. At the scene, the coroner determined that the 14-year-old victim had died from blunt force trauma injuries.
