Ruth Ann Cox, 76, of Greensboro, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024, at the Morgantown Healthcare Center, following a lengthy illness. Born in Waynesburg on April 4, 1948, she was a daughter of the late Ernest and Thelma Conway Cox. A 1967 graduate of Mapletown High School, Ruth Ann had formerly worked in the kitchens at WVU Hospital and Golden Living Nursing Home, both in Morgantown, W.Va.
Ruth Ann will be most remembered for her positive spirit and always seeing the good in everything. Her strong faith and commitment to the Lord enabled her to place all burdens in his loving hands.
She is survived by sisters, Eunice, Betty, who was her caregiver for the past several years, and Irene; and a brother, David. Honoring her wishes, there will be no public service.
