On Saturday afternoon, investigators say a car traveling at an excessive speed collided with many other vehicles, causing one person to lose their life and several others to sustain injuries. When it happened, a fast car was traveling in the 700 block of North Kedzie at around 4:17 p.m. on Saturday, and it crashed into a minivan. This is according to the officials.
According to the police, the car continued its journey into a junction, where it collided head-on with another vehicle.

According to the police, the driver of the speeding car was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead after being treated for his injuries. Two other people who were riding in that vehicle were taken to the hospital and later discharged; however, they did not communicate with the responding cops.

According to the authorities, the driver of the minivan that was first struck did not sustain any injuries. Both the driver and another passenger in the second car that was struck were examined, treated, and discharged from the local hospital after being involved in the accident. An investigation into the collision is still being carried out at this time.
