Roger Measles Death – Two people died following a deadly motorcycle accident that happened on Friday afternoon on Mountainview Road in the Wellington community. The victims were identified as 40-year-old Roger Measles and 34-year-old Jessica Slater. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Measles, and Slater passed away from injuries sustained in the motorcycle crash.
How did the crash happen?
At approximately 2:47 p.m. on Friday, a motorcycle reportedly collided with a trailer that was being hauled by a truck, as stated in a statement issued by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. The collision took place in Calhoun County between the cities of Jacksonville and Gadsden. Slater was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident upon examination. Measles was sent to the hospital, where he died from injuries sustained in the crash.
