Roger Leake Death – 36-year-old Roger Leake of Memphis, Tennessee has passed away following a fatal crash in Interstate 55 on Tuesday 5th July 2022. Information has it that, Roger Leake was pronounced dead at approximately 10:25 p.m. on Interstate 55 in rural Crittenden County.
How did the accident happen?
Roger Leake was driving a 2021 Hyundai and was unable to come to a halt in time causing a collision with a Peterbilt truck from the year 2000 that had stopped in traffic. The weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of each mishap, according to the reports that the troopers who investigated the scene of each collision wrote down. Roger Leake was a native of Ripley, Tennessee. He was a Litho Support Manager at American Greetings.

Za’ryiah Floyd, 9-year-old killed on I-65 accident in Nashville
9-year-old Za’ryiah Floyd has died following an accident on on I-65 accident in Nashville on Tuesday 5th July 2022. According to press release, a Honda Civic driven by a man aged 28 that was traveling north on Interstate 65 collided with a GMC Sierra. In addition to themselves, the driver of the Civic was also transporting two children, ages 8 and 9, in the vehicle. After the crash, all three individuals got out of the vehicle and sat on the wall of the concrete median.
Following the initial collision, a Nissan Altima slammed into another vehicle that had stopped behind the Civic. This caused the other vehicle to be propelled into the concrete median, where it struck Za’ryiah Floyd, who was 9 years old at the time. Both children were transported to the Vanderbilt Children’s hospital, where a physician confirmed that Floyd had passed away. The eight-year-old was taken to the hospital and later discharged.
