What you need to know about Roger Davis

Roger Davis was a supporter of Knoxville Sports Talk and a regular listener to the program. He was without a doubt the most devoted fan of the University of Tennessee, and he always had a positive attitude toward the Tennessee Volunteers’ athletic programs. Roger was endowed with a heart that was so pure and uncorrupted. He was one of those people who never had a bad day and always looked for the silver lining in every situation.

He had a positive outlook on life in general, which made those around him experience life more enthusiastically. He was Knoxville Sports Talk show’s largest caller and listener, and the biggest Tennessee supporter in the history of the university. He was one of the most admirable men that East Tennessee has ever had the pleasure of knowing. He had a tremendous amount of love for people who were most important to him, which included his family, his friends, his church, and of course the VOLS. Despite the fact that many people had the opportunity to hear his voice on numerous occasions on the various Volunteer radio shows, those who are close to him are aware of his enthusiasm and love for Jesus.

He served in an important capacity in the First Apostolic Church in Knoxville, where he was also a devoted member of the congregation. At each and every ceremony, he made it a point to sit in the front row, and the first thing he did when he saw you was to give you a bear hug. He never missed an opportunity to do so. Everyone that Roger interacted with was left with a positive and lasting impression as a result of his authenticity and generosity.
