Rodney Hubbard arrested for murder – The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office filed charges of Murder in the Second Degree, Armed Criminal Action, and Tampering with Physical Evidence against the suspect, Rodney Hubbard, on September 4, 2023. Hubbard was 32 years old at the time of the incident that resulted in the death of the woman. In order to conduct a welfare check, the police were called to the residence that can be found in the 7400 block of Blanding Drive.

When the police came, they found a body outside the property in the back yard that had been covered with a bed sheet, plastic, a wheel barrow, tree branches, and a comforter. Additionally, the body was covered in tree branches. The victim sustained repeated blows to the face and the back of the head from the blunt instrument. The investigation was ultimately focused on Hubbard. During the course of the investigation, it is believed that he provided statements to police that may be used against him.

An investigation into the fatal shooting of a man on Sunday afternoon has been opened by the St. Louis County Police Department. Officers responded to a complaint for a shooting just before 1:25 p.m. in the 5300 block of Gladstone Place, where they located a man inside a home suffering from a gunshot wound. According to the police, officers who responded to the call for the shooting found the victim. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the incident.
On Monday, the police determined that the victim was a Spanish Lake resident named Taron Robinson, who was 26 years old.
