Robert Ueberroth Obituary, Cause Of Death – The principle of Chester Miller Elementary School, Robert Ueberroth, died on Wednesday, April 6, according to Saginaw Public Schools officials.
Chester Miller Elementary will be closed on Thursday and Friday, April 7-8, according to district officials. Instead, grief counselors will be on hand at the facility, 2020 Brockway in Saginaw, for workers, students, and parents.
According to mlive.com, Mr. Ueberroth was a beloved administrator, teacher, athletic trainer, and coach for Saginaw Public Schools for 23 years, according to a statement posted at 5 p.m. on the school district’s Facebook page. “He had a tremendous enthusiasm for the physical, social, and athletic development of pupils, and he demonstrated that commitment in all of his duties.” Chester Miller Elementary and the Saginaw Public Schools family will miss him greatly.”
The cause of death for Ueberroth was not specified in the statement. Beyond the statement provided, Superintendent Ramont Roberts indicated he would not speak further on Wednesday. According to Ueberroth’s bio on the Saginaw Public Schools website, he began working for the system in 1999.
