River Ludemann Death: 14-year-old River Ludemann has been identified as the teenager who passed away in deadly Stanley County car accident on Saturday. The Fort Pierre, SD teenager died following the single vehicle crash that happened around 9:30 p.m., Saturday, May 27, 2023. According to the Stanley County Sheriff’s Office, the accident occurred in an Off Road Vehicle area which is Oahe Dam, off of Highway 1806. Law enforcement agency responded to the scene after receiving reports of a car crash with a possible victim in the area. Arriving officials located the teen trapped inside a jeep.

According to the Stanley County Sheriff’s Office, River was transported by responding AMR ambulance to Avera St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre. According to the department, the young male was confirmed dead at the hospital. According to a news source, other agencies who responded to the incident includes the South Dakota Game, Fish and Parks, Fort Pierre Volunteer Fire Department, Pierre Rescue Squad and the South Dakota Highway Patrol.
