Kaira Karmakar Death – The Shri Ram School is mourning the unexpected passing of Kaira Karmakar who died recently. UWC South East Asia student, Kaira Karmakar was announced dead on Saturday, the 3rd of June 2023. She was a cherished friend, exceptionally talented, and loved by all her former teachers at the Vasant Vihar and Moulsari campuses. Thoughts and prayers are with her friends, family and the UWC South East Asia students during this difficult time.
The Shri Ram School released a statement regarding the passing of UWC South East Asia student, Kaira Karmakar:
“‘May there be comfort in knowing that someone so special will never be forgotten’-Julie Herbert. The Shri Ram community deeply mourns the passing of one of our own – Kaira Karmakar. She was a cherished friend, exceptionally talented, and loved by all her former teachers at the Vasant Vihar and Moulsari campuses.
A student of the Moulsari campus till 2018, Kaira’s bond with her friends stayed strong over the years, and her untimely and sudden demise has left us all in pain and shock. May the almighty help her family and friends to cope with the pain of this unbearable loss.” No cause of death was reported for Kaira Karmakar at the time of this publication.

Kaira Karmakar, a high school student, has nurtured a love for writing since she was a young child. Her passion for literary expression has led her to craft creative stories about the fascinating characters in her imagination, as well as tales from her own life experiences. When she’s not lost in the world of words or engrossed in her favourite books, Kaira loves to explore her artistic side through painting, sketching, and playing the piano. Patience and a gentle spirit make her an excellent assistant to those around her.
