Jason was a husband and a father and had spent the last several years living in Florida and working for the Pasco County Fire Department.

Who was Jason Tucker?
Jason Tucker was a resident of Spring Hill, Florida. He graduated from Springstead High School. After high school, Jason went on to study at Pasco-Hernando State College and Hillsborough Community College. He was a firefighter and EMT at Pasco County Fire Rescue at the time of his passing.
As a member of Pasco County Fire Rescue, he worked to avoid cancer in the fire service for the next generation of firefighters. Tucker’s last days were spent teaching new employees about the value of avoiding cancer. Jason Tucker’s work at Pasco County Fire Rescue made a big difference in a lot of people’s lives, and everyone who knew him will miss him very much.
His work with the agency’s Special Operations Team and Decon programs showed how much he cared about helping people. His hard work to avoid cancer in the fire service will pave the way for future generations of firefighters and save many lives in the process. Even in his last days, Firefighter Jason Tucker kept going to the new hire classes to talk about how important it is to avoid getting cancer.
