George Wythe High School Shooting – There is currently a heavy police presence at George Wythe High School with Richmond Police carrying out a shooting investigation outside George Wythe High School in South Richmond. According to reports, a juvenile was shot in a wooded area close to a school parking lot at the Crutchfield Street school. This report was confirmed by the Richmond Police.
Close sources claim that the shooting victim is a student. He was was shot in the chest and was transported to the hospital. He sustained injuries from the incident and they are considered to be very life-threatening. Sadly, he was not the only victim, another individual was taken to the hospital after sustaining injuries which are are considered not life-threatening.
So far, no further information has been released at the time of this publication. Reports say that a “suspect vehicle” was seen driving out of the incident scene. Following the incident, George Wythe High School is currently on lockdown at this time. The public will be updated as soon as more information is released. This is a developing story.

Following the officer’s failure to report for duty on Friday night, his wife and he were discovered shot to death in their North Carolina home, according to authorities.
At a news conference held late on Friday, Fayetteville Police Chief Kemberle Braden revealed that state investigators are looking into the deaths as a double homicide. After many days off, Officer Domingo Tavarez-Rodriguez was scheduled to begin work at 6 o’clock on Friday. Supervisors went to his residence and discovered the dead after he failed to show up for work or answer his phone, according to Braden.
The chief stated that Tavarez-Rodriguez and his wife, Yenitza Arroyo Torres, were both shot, but he omitted to mention whether or not their home looked to have been broken into or provide any other information on their demise.
