About Richie Acosta
Richie, who was born and raised in New Jersey, has had an interest in big rigs ever since he was a small boy, and his elder brother Raul is the one who started the family’s trucking business. The keys of his very own Volvo straight truck were handed over to him in 1991 in recognition of the fact that he was always eager to lend a hand (we all have to start somewhere). After that, he purchased a Mack R-Model tractor as an update. A 1993 KW W900L Aerodyne followed.
His modifications are quite comprehensive, consisting of a stainless deck as well as a stainless-wrapped frame. After that, he went and bought himself a 1994 KW W900L that had a wheelbase of 300 inches and traded it in for something else (he had the frame wrapped on it as well). The following year, Richie placed an order for a second W900L KW in 1999. This time, the truck would come equipped with a factory-installed 320-inch wheelbase and a 60-inch modular sleeper (which was unheard of in his neck of the woods back East). The gigantic rig was given the moniker Size Does Matter, and he drove it to a number of different performances.
Richie took the choice to build his next truck, which he dubbed “Project 350.” Richie is currently working on it. To get Peterbilt to agree to build a truck with a wheelbase of 350 inches and only a double frame, it required a lot of convincing, but in the end, they did it, and it was successful. Richie has been driving around the Northeast region in a stainless reefer that is the ideal size for the tractor so that he may deliver less-than-truckload (LTL) freight. The majority of the weeks, he has about twenty deliveries, and the places where they are made are congested – even for a typical truck. This makes it difficult for him to complete all of his deliveries on time. But Richie likes the challenge.
Richie is an easygoing and friendly man, despite the fact that he is covered in tattoos and has a reputation as a “bad boy.” Richie’s love for his family, which consists of his mother and father, his brother and sister, his wife Nieves, and his twin daughters, Alexandra and Arianna, who are two years old, is a side of Richie that the majority of people do not see. Richie’s family members include his mother and father, his brother and sister, his wife Nieves, and his twin daughters.
Richie Acosta obituary and funeral arrangements will be released by the family at a later date.
