Richard Bowersox, 71, Killed In House Fire

Death: A 71-year-old man was murdered in a house fire in central Pennsylvania, according to authorities – Last week, a 71-year-old man died of smoke inhalation when his York County home caught fire, according to authorities.

According to pennlive.com, Northern York County Regional Police, Richard Bowersox was discovered inside his home on the 4900 block of East Berlin Road in Paradise Township on Friday evening.

According to police, Bowersox was the only person in the house at the time of the incident. According to police, the incident originated in Bowersox’s kitchen and is not being investigated as suspicious.  The fire marshal from the Pennsylvania State Police went to the site and established the cause of the incident.

Northeast Adams, Dover Township, West York, Nashville Volunteer, and Dover Borough fire companies all assisted in putting out the fire, according to FOX 43.
