Three persons were killed on Monday afternoon, thirteen miles west of Sioux Falls, as a consequence of an accident that included multiple automobiles that took place in that area. The event took place at roughly 4:16 o’clock in the afternoon. According to the information that was provided to the Department of Public Safety, a 2014 Ram 3500 was heading westbound on Interstate 90 when it crashed head-on with an RV. Prior to this collision, the vehicle had previously sideswiped other vehicles while going in the westbound lanes of traffic.
The fire is said to have fully devoured both vehicles, which “destroyed identifying features and documents,” as stated by the officials. The traffic in both directions was forced to take an alternate route for a good number of hours. The driver of a 2014 Ram 3500 sustained life-threatening injuries and unfortunately passed away as a consequence of those injuries.
The driver of the recreational vehicle (RV) had life-threatening injuries that ultimately proved deadly. The injuries sustained by the passenger in the RV were so serious that they ultimately proved deadly. It is not planned to make public the names of those who were involved in the incident until after members of their families have been briefed on the situation. The South Dakota Highway Patrol is currently looking into the crash and conducting an inquiry into it.
