Dominic Forte, also known as Jah Rej, is both a gifted musician and producer, as well as a devoted father and treasured friend. His presence provided delight to everyone who knew him, and his music had an impact on the lives of a great number of people. Jah Rej has been contributing to the production and mixing of heavyweight roots, reggae, and dub music since the year 1982. In 1989, Jah Rej, also known as D. Forte, established the Jah Works label. Jah Rej was born in the United Kingdom.
During this time of mourning, let us remember the wonderful songs and incredible rhythms that he produced, the fun that we shared together, and the love that he showed to those who were in his immediate vicinity. We shall miss Rej very much, but his legacy will continue to live on through the music he created and the memories we care greatly about.
