Regis University Shooting Investigations – A woman has died following a daylight shooting near Regis University in Denver, Colorado Thursday. According to reports, the Regis University campus located in the area of Regis Blvd was placed on lockdown as tons of Denver Police Department officials respond to a homicide scene on 50th and Federal. According to reports, a man has been taken into custody after he murdered a woman on the open field following an altercation. The suspect was taken into custody in the 55th and Lowell.
Regis University – UPDATE: Denver Police has confirmed that the suspect in the homicide at 50th and Federal has been arrested at 55th and Lowell. They advise that there is no danger. The lockdown has been lifted.

Following the incident, a heavy police presence were dispatched to the campus area as law enforcement agencies investigate. Police say this is an ongoing investigation and Denver medical examiner will identify the victim in the incident.
