The victim has been identified as Rashi Gordon from Orlando, Florida. According to reports, Rashi Gordon passed away on Tuesday, the 16th of May 2023 after the tragic incident. It was reported that he was swimming with his friends at an outdoor spring when he was overpowered by the current and was carried away.

Rashi was a lively young man. To know Rashi was to like him. Everyone who knew him said that he was kind, loving, funny, charming, polite, well spoken, and an all-around amazing person. Rashi always put his family first. He never missed a special event or a chance to help someone in need, no matter how big or small.
Rashi went to and graduated from Colonial High School, where he was the star player on the basketball team. When he wasn’t playing hoops, he was spending time with his family. After graduating from high school, he went to Southern Technical College and got a degree as a veterinary technician. Rashi was like a ray of light. Always kind, friendly, and respectful. He was the sun in every room and an angel on earth with a bright future.

The goal for the page “Rashi Gordon’s Funeral Expenses” was set at $25,000. So far, it has raised USD 13,655. “This sudden loss has brought an unexpected expense for the Gordon family. We are asking for donations of any size, big or small to help towards the funeral expenses. We ask that you keep the Gordon family in prayer through this difficult time.”
