Wiki Biography of Rascal Flatts

Rascal Flatts is an American country rock band formed in 1999 in Columbus, Ohio. Gary LeVox (lead vocalist), Jay DeMarcus (bass, keyboard, vocals, drums), and Joe Don Rooney (drums) have been with the band since the beginning (guitar main, electric bass, mandolin, vocals). The band has released albums on the Lyric Street and Big Machine labels.

How much money do Rascal Flatts have? According to credible sources, the band’s overall worth is believed to be in the range of $150 million as of mid-2016 data.

Rascal Flatts have a net worth of $150 million dollars.

To begin, DeMarcus moved to Nashville in 1992, where he signed his first record deal as a member of the Christian group East to West. He finally persuaded LeVox to leave from the Ohio Department of Mental Retardation in 1997 so that they could follow their musical goals together. DeMarcus eventually joined the Chely Wright band, where he met Joe Don Rooney. DeMarcus and LeVox worked at Nightclub Alley, a print company, and when the part-time guitarist was unable to play, DeMarcus asked Rooney to fill in. In late 1999, they adopted the name Rascal Flatts and began negotiating on a contract with Lyric Street Records.

Rascal Flatts has released nine studio albums, two live albums, four compilation albums, 35 music videos, and 35 singles to date; in addition, the band has produced six studio albums under the Lyric Street Records label. The albums “Rascal Flatts” (2000) and “Melt” (2002) were first certified two times platinum and three times platinum in the United States, respectively. Furthermore, “Feels Like Today” (2004) and “me and My Gang” (2006) were certified five and four times platinum, respectively. “Still Feels Good” (2007) was certified two times platinum, whereas “Unstoppable” (2009), their last album published under the Lyric Street label, was only certified platinum. The band switched labels to Big Machine Records in response to a noticeable drop in popularity, but it did not help. “Nothing Like This” (2010) was certified platinum, “Changed” (2012) was certified gold, while “Rewind” (2014) only sold 227,600 copies. However, all of the above-mentioned albums, with the exception of the first, have charted at number one on the Billboard Top 100 chart.

They’ve also released 26 hit singles, including “Life Is a Highway” from the soundtrack of the film “Cars,” which reached number 20 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs list (2006). The song “Bless the Broken Road” held the top spot for the longest time (five weeks) between late 2004 and early 2005. “What Hurts the Most,” the band’s best-selling track, topped the Billboard country and adult contemporary charts in 2006 and was a Billboard Top 10 smash. Rascal Flatts also contributed an acoustic version of “Backwards” to the soundtrack of “Hannah Montana: The Movie.”

To summarize, the band has sold over 23 million albums and more than 30 million digital downloads to date. Rascal Flatts’ net worth has risen dramatically as a result of these events.
