Fans were offended by Quavo’s most recent Instagram message when they assumed he was criticizing Offset’s new tattoo commemorating Takeoff, but his mother is clearing the air. With a photo session atop a massive military aircraft on Thursday, Quavo garnered hundreds of comments and wrote: “Rocket Power It’s In You Not On You! 👑 #RocketPower🚀.”
Many fans mistook Quavo’s “not on you” remark as a jab at Offset’s full-back portrait tattoo, which he showed last week. However, Quavo’s mother, Takeoff’s grandma, is reassuring fans that the phrase is really a quotation from the late rapper’s body of work. Having said that, the surviving members of the Migos haven’t exactly given fans a lot of reasons to think they’ll get along in the future.
