The deceased’s death was announced in a Facebook post by Facebook user Jewish Studio Project, who said, “We are heartbroken to share the news that our beloved teammate, dear friend, and teacher, Rachel Brodie, has passed away. As we feel the deep sadness of this loss, our hearts are with the many of you who were close to her in this community and especially with her family.
To be in Rachel’s presence was to be illuminated by her wit, her laughter, and her fierce and tender heart. To learn with her was to be stimulated, delighted, and transformed. We are devastated as we feel into these early moments of grief. In the days and weeks to come we will find ways to honor and celebrate Rachel’s incredible life and legacy…”
