She was announced dead on Monday, September 25, 2023, through a social media publication that read “Rachel Benigni you were my first-ever friend. We definitely made riding tricycles look cool. My heart is broken for your 2 little boys, husband, friends, and family. May you rest in peace.”

Rachel’s beloved sister Cara Schram in a social media statement announced that she passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. According to Cara, Rachel was diagnosed a few months ago with stage 4 lung and liver Cancer. “It’s with a heavy heart I have to say I lost my sister yesterday. Rachel was diagnosed a few months ago with stage 4 lung and liver Cancer. She fought very hard and suffered tremendously. This is a very hard time for our family as we have to send another sibling up to be with the lord.”
Rachel was described as a wonderful Mother, wife, sister, friend, aunt, and cousin. “I want everyone to know that Rachel and I talked about God and she had God on her side. All though we may have lost her in the flesh her spirit will live on. She was a wonderful Mother, wife, sister, friend, aunt, cousin and will be missed by all who loved her.”

Rachel Benigni was a loving wife to her husband Bradley Benigni who she had been married to for more than 9 years. Rachel was a dedicated and loving mother to her two precious sons Collins and Alexander. She actively participated in local initiatives and volunteered for community events. Rachel possessed a unique relationship with her siblings. In addition to being a devoted sister, she served as a confidante and a rock for them whenever they needed it.
To many people outside of her home, Rachel was a great friend. Her compassionate heart and understanding disposition brought others to her with ease. When her friends needed it most, she had the rare capacity to listen to them without passing judgment and to provide real counsel and consolation. She was the kindest person with the biggest heart and a beautiful personality.
