Quinton, who was born on February 3, 1949, attended Edgewood High School before growing up in Trenton. He bravely and patriotically served in the US Army throughout the Vietnam War, earning an honorable discharge. Following his return home, Quinton started a profession as a proficient electrician. He worked as one for more than 40 years, gaining the respect and admiration of his peers for his knowledge and work ethic.
Quinton was loved and involved in the Trenton community. As a devoted member of the Trenton Lions Club, he took part in a number of fundraising events and community service initiatives. His involvement in youth mentoring programs and his voluntary work with local food banks demonstrated his commitment to serving the community.
Quinton loved spending time with his loved ones and was a dedicated family man. His cherished spouse of half a century, Martha, together with their three offspring, Angela, Brian, and Kevin, as well as his six grandchildren, who provided him great happiness, have all survived him. He was well-known for his kindness, good humor, and unwavering devotion to his friends and family.
Pastor Michael Andrews will preside over Quinton’s life celebration, which takes place on May 22, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Trenton Community Church. Friends will be welcomed by the family at the church from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. before the service. The family would prefer donations to the Trenton Lions Club in Quinton’s honor rather than flowers.
