The other teenager alighted from the bus and made their escape on foot. The injured teenager was sent to the hospital, where doctors say his injuries are life-threatening. A man in his 60s from Preston has been detained on suspicion of attempting to commit murder, and a man in his 20s from Preston has been detained on suspicion of threatening to kill someone and conspiring to inflict criminal damage.
The parties are believed to be familiar with one another, according to the police, who have continued to hold them in jail for questioning. An investigation has been opened, and the authorities are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information to come forward.
Officers are also investigating complaints that glass were shattered at the address on Ribbleton Avenue on Friday (April 28), and they suspect that the events could be related to one another.
