According to the statements made by the authorities, the fight that led to the shooting took place within the confines of the apartment complex that can be found at 4100 Merriman.
After the officer-involved shooting that occurred at approximately 7 a.m. today, July 7th, 2022, the authorities revealed that a suspect was engaged and shot and that the suspect was subsequently pronounced dead at the scene of the shooting. The shooting occurred after an officer was involved in the incident. Was not immediately released any additional specifics regarding what led up to the officer-involved incident that took place.

Two police officers in Port Neches, Texas, shot and killed 21-year-old Port Arthur resident Trevon Hull after he allegedly crashed a stolen vehicle into a police unit and then fled on foot while armed with a firearm. It appears from the early autopsy results that were made public on Friday that Hull was shot multiple times. The number of casualties and their locations, however, were not disclosed. Toxicology tests were also conducted, according to authorities, and the results won’t be confirmed for a while. Currently, the investigation is still ongoing.
Officials have estimated that the autopsy process might take up to 90 days. Hull’s autopsy, ordered by Brad Burnett, Justice of the Peace Pct.7, was conducted by Forensic Medical of Texas in Beaumont on Thursday. DPS has said that after the investigation is complete, the results would be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office.
