Killeen Police Department officers are on the scene of an armed person/active shooter inside the Killen Mall.
The mall at 2100 S W S Young Dr in Killeen has been placed on immediate lockdown as authorities respond to the situation, according to authorities.
Preliminary investigation shows that when authorities arrived, they found the suspect and arrested him. His true identity has yet to be revealed.
At this moment, no victims have been identified. This is a work in progress.

The Killeen Mall is a 557,418-square-foot shopping mall on 63.1 acres in Killeen, Texas. Jones Lang Lasalle owns and manages the property. The mall, which contains 100 retailers, first opened in 1981. Bealls, Sears, and Zale Corporation’s O. G. Wilson Catalog Showroom were the original anchors.
