What happened to Pierson Dapier?

There was no cause of death reported for Pierson Dapier at the time of this publication. However, his family has confirmed the heartbreaking news. “He brought his special brand of love, interest and respect to everyone he encountered on the street, but most especially to the least and the lost. Tried to lend significance to all those who felt without.”

Who was Pierson Dapier?

Pieron was born at Lake Forest Hospital, and he lived in Lake Forest and Lake Bluff all through his childhood. Just a few months ago, he turned 29. He went to high school at Lake Forest for four years. But after he turned 12, he spent every free moment exploring the city and its surroundings. He jumped boxcars to Wisconsin, rode every Metra line north, northwest, west, and south and explored the towns along the way. He also walked and rode the trains to learn every inch of the city, whether it was on the red, pink, purple, yellow, orange, brown, green, or blue line.

His love of Chicago was a passion which, after the family first, was up there with music, writing, composing and his true belief in helping others and the goodness of all people. It is common knowledge that he was the drummer, guitarist, bassist, and vocalist for the bands Teflon Eulogies and Stand Up, Witness.

Pierson was not renowned for his subtlety as much as he was recognized for his enthusiastic self-expression and unwillingness to be anything but himself, which is one of the wonderful things about him. He loved nearly too much. He had ambitious goals for his music and his art, and if he could only have one wish fulfilled, it would be for this work to be safeguarded, maintained, and continued. Everyone he met on the street received his brand of love, curiosity, and respect, but he paid particular attention to those who had the least and were the most disoriented.
