Philip Parkes Death – HRN (Horse Radio Network) Philip Parkes mourn the death of one of its own, Philip Parkes who passed away suddenly. He was confirmed dead on Saturday, September 16, 2023. He died leaving behind his family, friends and loved ones who will always miss him devastated and heartbroken by his tragic death

Phil was a devoted member of the dressage community who was known for his dedication to and for the sport, his wide knowledge, and his warm and welcoming personality. Phil was as genuine in life as he came across on air. His wife Meredith, his family, friends, and fans are devastated by his sudden loss.

Who was Philip Parkes?

Philip Parkes was a Self-employed man. He completed his secondary education at Elmira District Secondary School. He was native of Amherstburg, Ontario but lived in Amherstburg, Ontario until he tragically died from a stroke in the hospital.

He was an amazing horseman and human being who fostered the love of the sport, horses, and learning. He will always be missed by all those who were lucky enough to call him friend. Over the years, he was a huge inspiration to the lives of so many riders.

Philip Parkes Cause of death

Reports say Philip suffered a major stroke on Sept 4th, leading of his death. This stopped him from marking 14 years as a part of the  CEC family. Unable to recover from the deadly stroke, he sadly passed away on September 15th at the hospital with family and dear friends by his side. The cause of the stroke has not been fully disclosed.

To my wonderful husband Philip, I’m so grateful for the time that we had together and I will always love you.

Every year for the Young Dressage Horse Symposium, Philip always brought his best self, his warmth, his enthusiasm, his humor, his insights, his friendship. He was beloved by his community and is indelibly written into the hearts and life history of The Dressage Radio Show. Philip showed up as the friend he truly was, the same bright-eyed, encouraging soul who always went the extra mile.
