Perryton TX Tornado – Three people who died in the tornadoes that tore through Perryton on Thursday, June 15, have been identified today. The storms are now being classified as two separate tornadoes. Becky Randall, 66, was found dead at Perryton Printers, where she worked; Cindy Bransgrove, 67, was found dead at the local food bank; and 11-year-old Matthew Ramirez was found dead at a mobile home park, which was a direct hit by the tornado.
The three victims are listed as Becky Randall, Cindy Bransgrove, and Matthew Ramirez. In addition to those who have lost their lives, up to one hundred others are currently being treated at Ochiltree General and other local hospitals for injuries ranging from quite minor to life-threatening. Randall, who was born and raised in Perryton was reportedly referred to as “an angel on earth” by her daughter-in-law, Randi Cunningham, according to reports. Randall was also known as “Randy.”
Many are looking into rendering help to the people of citizens of Perryton following the Tornado incident.
One local effort to collect and deliver much-needed household items has been organized by Shawn Davis, who has a big cargo trailer that he will fill with any donated items and deliver to Perryton. Davis is collecting furniture, like beds, dressers, couches, dining tables and chairs, as well as kitchen supplies like dishes, pots and pans, and towels and bedding. Clothing is not needed at this time. If you have items that are in good condition that you would like to donate, please contact Shawn at 806.217.2005.
