Patricia Kopta Missing – Patricia Kopta, a street preacher from Pittsburgh who was known as “The Sparrow,” was located after being lost for more than 30 years. Over the course of more than three decades, the Ross Township police department has been unable to shed any light on a case involving missing persons. Bob Kopta shared his experience, saying, “I come home one night, and she’s just gone, and nobody knows where she’s at.” Bob Kopta finds it difficult to discuss the trip they took to look for his wife after she went missing. He stated that she had some problems with her mental health and had mentioned wanting to move to Puerto Rico because it was warm there. “It’s been going on for about 31 years, and it’s become progressively worse.

Bob Kopta stated that “it cost me a lot of money, and I even put advertisements down in the paper in Puerto Rico looking for her.” Despite the fact that none of those things worked, he was correct in his assumption about where she might be. “We were contacted by an agent from Interpol as well as a social worker from Puerto Rico who believed they had her in an adult care home in Puerto Rico. They said she came into their care in 1999 when she was found in need in the streets where she is wandering around. While there, she refused to discuss her private life or where she came from,” said Deputy Chief Brian Kohlhepp with Ross Township Police. Years later, with dementia, she started to divulge some details that connected the dots back to Ross Township.
There was a match between the DNA samples. “Shock. I didn’t believe it. “I was completely taken aback,” Gloria Smith, Patricia’s sister, remarked of the news. The investigation into the matter has been finished, and the family has been reunited. “We really thought she was dead all those years. “We didn’t expect it, and it was a very big shock to find out that she was alive. We are so happy to find out that she is alive, and I hope I can get down to see her,” added Smith. From the time that Interpol investigators contacted the police until the time that all of the DNA sampling was finished, the entire investigation took around nine months to complete.
