Who was Patricia Brown?

Patricia Brown has been serving as a member of the Board of Education for the Sumner County School District 9 schools since since it was established in 2014. Sumner County Schools is a public school district in Sumner County, Tennessee, United States. It enrolls approximately 29,000 students and is the eighth largest school district in Tennessee. Mrs. Brown retired from her position at SCS in 2002, after having worked there as an educator for more than 30 years. Her retirement was well-deserved.

Mrs. Brown has spent her whole career working in a variety of educational settings, including as a classroom instructor and, for the past nine years, as the principal of E.B. Wilson High School. Currently, Mrs. Brown was serving as the principal of E.B. Wilson High School. She had a particular interest in assisting students who were having difficulty academically and required a little bit of more guidance in order to perform well in the classroom.

She never lost sight of the notion that the priorities of the class should revolve around the interests of the students. Pat Brown brought a depth of experience in the field of education and a profound dedication to improving the quality of life in the surrounding community when he was appointed to the Gallatin School Board.

The Sumner County Board of Education and Sumner County Schools and the entire Gallatin community mourns the loss of Pat as the Sumner County Schools have declared the January 17, 2023, Sumner County Board of Education meeting canceled. ‘The meeting will be rescheduled at a later date, the school wrote.
