Paqui Chip Death – A youngster who was 14 years old passed quite unexpectedly after taking part in the “One Chip Challenge” and consuming what is widely regarded as the chip with the highest level of heat anywhere in the world. According to a statement released by administrators at the Worcester public school district, where the young man attended classes, Harris Wolobah passed away on Friday.
On Tuesday, the results of Harris’s autopsy were still being analyzed, so it was not possible to identify what caused his death. However, Harris’s relatives are concerned that difficulties from eating a highly hot tortilla chip made by the company Paqui were a part in his passing.
People claim that Paqui Chips are the spiciest and most lethal chips in the world. Paqui cautions that consuming the chip may have adverse consequences on one’s health and insists that the chip should only be consumed by mature individuals. The Paqui-pushed one chip challenge is a popular activity on TikTok, where users post videos of themselves eating the goodies and seeing how long they can go without drinking or eating something that is designed to alleviate the fiery sensation that is induced by the chip.
Participants in the challenge typically report crying or experiencing stomach ache. However, the challenge did garner some unfavorable media attention when first responders in Georgia claimed that they were called to a nearby high school to treat a kid who attempted to take part in the one chip challenge. The student was injured as a result of the challenge.
Since 2016, Paqui has been responsible for the manufacturing of the chip, which was originally developed by Texas-based Amplify Snack Brands and sold to The Hershey Company in 2017. On the Scoville Scale, the Carolina Reaper Pepper scored up to 2.2 Million Scoville Heat Units (SHUs), earning it the title of the hottest pepper in the world. The Naga Viper Pepper came in with a score of 1,382,118 SHUs, placing it just below it.
