Owensville woman injured in a single-vehicle accident

On Monday morning, an Owensville woman was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle accident. Her 1999 Chevrolet Silverado drove 25 feet before coming to a complete halt. An infant kid was also in the vehicle, which Hite’s husband took away from the scene.

Susie Hite, 47, of Owensville, was driving north on County Road 850 West when she blacked out, leading her to cross the center of the road and crash into a ditch, according to Gibson County Sergeant Bruce Vanoven.

Gibson County Medics took Hite to St. Vincent Hospital after he complained of back pain. There were no symptoms of injuries on the child.
