Ontario Mills Mall Shooting – An investigation is ongoing following a shooting incident at Ontario mills mall on Monday, May 29. 2023. Several different law enforcement agencies are responding to reports of gunshots at the Californian Ontario Mills Mall. Detectives and police officers are presently conducting an investigation on the spot. No casualties have been confirmed or identified as of the publication of this story.

Ontario Police Department released a statement following the incident – “Ontario Police are on scene at the Mills Mall following reports of a disturbance. Officers are working to identify if there was a crime and who may have been involved. Please avoid the area. Updates to follow. No suspects have been named, and no details about any arrests have been made public right away.” The public is urged by the police to avoid the area. This is a developing story.

Authorities in Ontario, Canada, said a landlord-tenant quarrel led to the deaths of a Canadian couple on Saturday afternoon. The alleged shooter was also taken out. Two people were killed in the Stoney Creek area of Hamilton, and police are still looking into the incident. Carissa MacDonald, 27, and Aaron Stone, 28, were renters at the property when officers arrived at 5:40 p.m., according to a press statement from the police department. Dead from gunshot wounds were a lady and a guy they discovered.

A 57-year-old man, the suspect’s landlord, allegedly barricaded himself inside the residence with guns in his possession. According to Monica Hudon, a spokesman for the Special Investigations Unit in the Canadian province of Ontario, the authorities spent many hours trying to talk with the suspect. The death of the suspect is being looked into by the unit.

Police in Hamilton said that during phone conversations, the landlord opened fire on a police car three times. The SIU reports that at about 10 p.m., the suspect opened fire on a responding officer, resulting in the officer’s death. According to CBC News, the pair — a teacher’s aide and an electrician — recently became engaged. On Tuesday, after getting permission from the couple’s families, police in Hamilton, Ontario, revealed their names.
