One person died in a pedestrian accident in Edison: After speaking with News 12 New Jersey, Deputy Police Chief Robert Dudash confirmed that a pedestrian had been killed in Edison near the intersection of Route 1 and Plainfield Avenue.
All of the southbound lanes at the intersection of Route 1 and Plainfield Avenue in Edison were restored this morning as a result of an investigation conducted by the police.
According to the footage, the event took place at approximately 4:30 in the morning. During the time that the investigators were placing each shoe in a brown bag, Crocs were observed in the middle of the crosswalk crossing.
Traffic cones and police cars were used to block the intersection of Route 1 and Plainfield Avenue, which is located in the southbound direction. In order to prevent vehicles from entering this intersection, detours have been established.
An ongoing investigation is being conducted to determine what caused the accident.
