One killed in shooting near Miami Beach nightclub: On Monday morning, Miami Beach police made it official that they are looking into a fatal gunshot that was reportedly reported at a nightclub.
A police department spokesman, Officer Christopher Bess, states that the incident occurred at 1532 Washington Ave. shortly before 2:30 a.m. When the address is searched, the Exchange nightclub on South Beach shows up.
Evidence markers were visible on the ground right outside the club’s entrance when Local 10 News came on the scene later in the morning.
According to Bess, when the responding police arrived on the scene, they discovered a male who had been shot. He claimed that until Miami Beach Fire Rescue arrived, cops started CPR on the guy right away. According to Bess, the man was taken to the Ryder Trauma Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he passed away. Joseph Ojo of Local 10 was informed by witnesses that the victim worked as a security guard at the club.
