Olivia Rotondi Obituary, Death – It is with great sadness that we share the news of the unexpected loss of our beloved daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, niece and dear friend, Olivia Marie Rotondi, 25, on May 4 2022.
She is survived by her mother, Maria Ebinger; her father and step-mother, Rick and Melanie Rotondi; her brother, Tim Rotondi; her grandparents, Paul and Betsy Rotondi; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Olivia was born in Manchester, New Hampshire and attended Saint Matthew Elementary School, Holy Trinity Middle School and Charlotte Catholic High School. Following graduation from high school, she finished a bachelor of science in psychology at Eastern Carolina University and completed coursework for a masters in counseling from Southern New Hampshire University.
While earning her degree, Olivia worked at Holy Angels in Belmont, where she loved the residents, and the depth of her tenderness and compassion shined. All who knew Olivia will deeply miss her light, sweetness, and peace. Olivia adored her family, regularly traveling great distances to enjoy time with grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles both in Australia and New England.
Some of her fondest memories were her trips to visit Pop and Nana Ebinger in Melbourne, Australia; skiing in Austria; holidays in Germany and Italy; and summer vacations with Papa and Grandma Rotondi and family in Wolfboro, New Hampshire.
Olivia loved being outdoors and next to nature. She loved frequent walks with her mother and brother on Charlotte greenways; trips to Charleston and Florida, picnics in Freedom Park; and visiting her father and step-mother at their home in York, South Carolina.
She and her friends planned regular beach and mountain trips and these were the highlight of her year. She especially enjoyed all of the Friday nights spent relaxing with her brother Tim and friends, Benton and Link. Olivia was a beautiful young woman whose heart shone with an incredible capacity to empathize and show compassion to those in need.
She was a patient listener; a constant friend; an encourager and consoler. She will be greatly missed by her family, with the firm hope of a heavenly reunion. The Rosary will be recited at 12:20 with the Eulogy beginning at 12:50 p.m. before the Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m.
