Obituary: 8-Year-Old Wisconsin Youngster Has Died After Benn stuck By Mother – According to police, a Wisconsin youngster died as a result of injuries sustained when his mother struck him. Oliver Hitchcock, 8, survived the attack on Wednesday, but he remained in serious condition and died on Friday, according to authorities.
According to lawandcrime.com, Before formal charges are filed, Sheboygan Falls Police Chief Eric Miller declined to name the mother. She was taken to a local hospital for self-inflicted injuries, according to officials, and then lodged in the Sheboygan County Jail.
“We know Sheboygan Falls first responders, Orange Cross Ambulance, doctors and employees at Saint Nic[h]olas Hospital in Sheboygan and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin did everything they could to save Oliver,” Miller wrote.
Initially, cops, firefighters, and paramedics were dispatched to an apartment at 1110 Plank Trail Lane shortly before 5 p.m. on Wednesday. Hitchcock, 8, was discovered and sent to Saint Nicholas Hospital by first responders. He was eventually airlifted to Milwaukee’s Children’s Hospital in critical condition. Police disputed claims on social media that the kid had been stabbed.
