Offutt Air Force Base Investigations – A lockdown has been reportedly imposed at the U.S. Air Force base located in south of Omaha Wednesday. According to a notification posted on the Twitter page of Offutt AFB, a lockdown has been ordered at the Offutt Air Force Base which is the adjacent to Bellevue in Sarpy County. Everyone is urged to stay away from the location while those inside the Air Force Base is been urged to stay inside, lockdown and barricade doors if possible.

The law enforcement agencies did not immediately disclose what the ongoing investigation is all about. Unconfirmed report alleged that law enforcement agencies are investigating an active shooter situation at the Offutt AFB Naval Base. More details will be released as information becomes available.

A lady was taken into custody late on Sunday night after allegedly shooting a guy in the north end of Omaha. A gunfire call came in just before midnight, and officers were dispatched to the area at 16th and Emmet Streets to investigate. When the police came, they discovered a 37-year-old guy who had been shot and was suffering from the effects of his injury.
After that, he was sent to a nearby hospital to receive treatment for an injury that did not pose an immediate threat to his life. The police said that Ashunta Brown, who was there at the time, was subsequently brought into jail after the incident. She was taken into custody on suspicion of assault in the first degree, using a firearm in the commission of a felony, and two counts of neglecting her children.
