Rhonda S. Ferguson, J.D., the Company’s Executive Vice President and General Counsel, joined Union Pacific in 2016 after nearly a decade as Vice President, Corporate Secretary, and Chief Ethics Officer at FirstEnergy, an electric company in her home state of Ohio.
She was previously an Assistant General Counsel and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Ferro. She was a partner at BakerHostetler and a litigation associate at Thompson Hine LLP. Ferguson earned a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Northwestern University and a Juris Doctorate from Case Western Reserve University School of Law.
