Salvo Nicosia Death, Obituary News – Salvo Nicosia, Alberta Ferretti’s head of communications and the ever stylish gent known on Instagram as The Bearded Publicist, died at the age of 51.
Nicosia, a distinctive figure in the fashion world, died on Thursday night in Milan after spending many days in the hospital, according to close acquaintances.
According to fashionnetwork.com, Nicosia’s final role in his illustrious career was as communications director of the Alberta Ferretti and Pollini collections, which he held from April 2021 until his death. Nicosia joined the Aeffe Group in 2019 as director of VIP and celebrity relations, beginning working out of its London offices.
After that, he spent eight years at Karla Otto, rising through the ranks to become their celebrity majordomo and events vice president.
